Oh how I enjoy using my creativity in the kitchen! It's funny how I find new sides of me :O I mean I remember telling my Dad (as a kid!) that I would never fuss about food when I grow up - I'd always buy ready made food! Problem solved, huh?

Ok so I have a sweet tooth. If you don't like calories - this might not be your thing. This rasberry dream has got rolled oats that have been fried in butter and sugar, cream cheese, rasberries from the freezer (melted but still cold) and whipped cream with vannilla. They are placed in layers. My plan was to not to make it too sweet - I did succeed but I need to work on this one still...

I keep on eating. I mean I'm eating right now. Ok, it depends what time of the month it is. It definitely counts but I keep eating even when I'm not hungry! Especially when I feel bad. I'm making fun of the situation right now but I'm just wondering. Am I still in control?

I've got to make a change

I'm ill again. I never used to be sick! I'm telling you. Then I just realised my condition just isn't what a 19year olds condition should be. And it has started to affect every part of my life. I'm starting to get fat (don't get me wrong! I'm not morbidly obese, though!), I'm constantly depressed, tired, angry... then I just eat to handle it all. I really need to make a change. Cause I understood that I'm not able to do what I could do. And I'm the one incharge of the sabotage. I'm such a douchebag.

Anyway, I want to start fresh. Isn't it wonderful that one can do that? I've started to drink more water. I din't realise one should drink more than our thirst tells us to. I think about 1,5 litres would be good for me per day. We are almost made of water so drinking it makes sence. Here are six reasons to drink water (about eight glasses a day. and hey! not too much. you can kill yourself if you exagerate!)

1. Drinking water helps you maintain your waterbalance
2. ...helps you control your weight
3. ...gives boost to your muscles
4. ...makes your skin look good
5. ...helps your kidneys
6. ...helps your intestine to work

Now sports... I've always had great issues with it. P.E. classes... OMG don't want to even talk about it :(! We all know how important sports is? I've tried compiting in swimming, waterpolo, (lady)boxing, pilates, bodycombat, spinning, zumba, aerobics, running... I never stay. It's cool at first but then I just get fed up! Especially with running. But I want to give it a go once more cause it's cheap. I'm in a really bad condition right now but I know I can do better. I have to anyway... I found this guide for getting into better shape. I think I've messed up before cause I've tried too hard immediately from the start... I didn't know one should not eat about two hours before running. Anyway this is day one:

5 minutes of brisk walking
1 minute of jogging
5 minutes of running/walking (why do they have to give options? I mean ofcourse I'll WALK)
1 minute of jogging
3 minutes of brisk walkin
total of 15 minutes

Patience, por favor

Depression is something one can not fully understand. Yes it might be chemicals that aren't produced as they should... but it's more. You are locked inside yourself with thoughts that are not rational but you can't help it. And no matter how naive the things you might be sad of are, you still feel so bad that just thinking of having to face another day aches in your body. All you friends and family members: You might not understand the isolation... or the silence... the what ever. Please don't be pissed off. Mostly, depressed people just need help but they are drifting away slowly - and thus too tired to function normally. Don't give up on them. Don't you think that it would be better that someone is there ready to catch them when they finally land back on this planet?

(Answer: yes, it would.)

Ok, before anyone gets mad: I know a whole more about Italian culture and I have a great respect for it so please don't call me shallow because of the headline :D!

Ok, so I was in Italy, last summer... in August or so. It's only now when I feel like uploading some pictures. I was visiting my dear friend E near Venice. In Treviso actually. I flew with this cheap airline (not good for the climate, I know, sorry!) to Milan (Bergamo). It was my first trip alone... like abroad! This is Bergamo. I didn't have that much time or courage to explore the whole city (the one on the hill) because I needed to leave for Venice by train soon after arriving.

St. Marks is amazing. But I'm telling you the pidgeons are like the birds in that Hitchcock´s movie...

Thank God for the bridges! A boatless person would nearly have to go to Rome just to cross over because of the water (well not really, but you get the point).

You could taste the sun in these fruits and veggies... I miss that taste... Sigh. It was an amazing experience for a person who has gotten used to the fact that every fruit is imported from "the south".

You Are More

It's ok to dream but life hardly goes as we plan. It wasn't my plan to suffer from burn out or become seriously depressed. Don't get me wrong: I've learned alot in a year and finally I have a goal I'll try to acheave! If life has different things planned, I'm open for the new stuff. Someone might say I've totally lost one year while being lost but I don't agree. I'm much richer in experiences than before, I've had time to think and grow. Yes, I might graduate one year later from the university because of my gap year and I'm no use for the economy blah blah blah... But I'm well again! I know what I want (more about that later)! And now it's just important for me to keep that in mind. I'm thankfull for this new beginning.
